Troy and I met on the subway to work one day. The train was unusually crowded, so when I boarded the compartment there were no seats left. Uncomfortably, I maneuvered my way into a somewhat empty space just big enough to hold my petite figure. Stop after stop, more and more people boarded the train, unfortunately, very few got off. While, arriving at my destination, the doors to our over populated chamber slid open. Just as I take a step from my niche a flood of people flow through the isle and trample me. Thankfully, breaking my fall was a young man about early twenties, who was sitting in the seat behind me.
“Oh my! I’m so sorry” I cry out, awkwardly sitting on this handsome stranger. He simply chuckled at me with a magnificent glistening smile.
“It’s quite alright.” said the man with a captivating Australian accent. “Are you alright though?”
“Yes I’m fine, thank you.” I gazed into his big blue eyes, not as deep and vast as the oceans but dark and round like freshly picked blueberries still damp from the morning dew. After realizing just how hypnotizing his appearance is, I heard the doors of the subway train seal shut. Than, being distracted from his beauty, I also come to realize that I’m still sitting on his lap.
